I just did a whole house with the entry level Allure and wish I would have gone thicker.

I soaked some for a week prior to using it...it is resin impregnated gypsum coated in fiberglass.  

We have rehabbed quite a few cat peee houses where you could barely breathe when you went in, we will typically replace baseboards in problem areas and cut the drywall up about three inches or so, and then seal the areas with a couple coats of shellac. 

I went with the bootz aloha tub, unfortunately upon opening the box I the porcelain coat was chipped.

It's thicker and heavier than normal drywall.

A fresh coat of paint done right will make a house in need of a paint job shine like a new dime!

For the cabinets, we did the process correctly- take off doors and hardware; degloss and clean; sand; use high bonding alkyd primer; wait 3 days; then paint 2-3 full coats as needed.

Flooring may need 2nd coat.  

I soaked it liberally with a good quality enzyme cleaner, but it didn't do much, I then put several coats of BIN primer on it, but if i put my nose down to the floor I can still smell it, however the room doesn't smell any longer.
