@Katharina Bormann in my experience they don't like those official looking letters in the mail so make sure you do that and also have a cost associated with unresolved issues like trash in your lease.

Magistrates tend to have long memories and also tend to hold grudges against local incompetent landlords.So if he wakes up and talks to someone with any brains and experience, this won't go to court, but he'll start looking for another excuse to get rid of you, something much easier to argue in court.

I am never looking for a sure thing as I don't really think they exist but I don't want to get into something that I am not sure how it will look in 3 or 5 years.The only way I would look at this deal is if it is perfect for getaways and relaxing for me and the family and anything I made would help pay for those experiences.

We also follow-up with the recruiter or HR lead after each stay to tell them what a great experience we had with their employee and to ask them to think of us in the future when they need to place someone in a midterm/corporate lease.
