The cool part about house hacking it too at 100% VA disability is I won't be paying the taxes on it while living there so that offsets the monthly cost a bit until I get something else to rent it out fully.

I tried rent at $1500 for each unit and it still cash flowed at $282 per month.  

Fully occupied, the property grosses $5,570/month with $4690 net profit after expenses.

Because they aren't traditional tenants in the sense with a 1 year lease and to determine fit for the house, I like to start everyone on 2-4 month leases and see how they perform.
