I know people who erect cages inside their houses in secure neighborhoods so that when (not if), criminals break in, their family are safely behind the cages. 

Ours range from 8K when we first started 5 years ago to about 30K for recent flips.Averages about 18K-20K. This is net, after all selling costs.

Nowadays most the new commercial gcs I see have a college degree specific to construction management.  

Sales comps are generally too darn high nowadays, so the key is to get pictures to support a lower value due to property condition:  sheetrock cracks and cracks in mortar that suggest foundation issues, any interior issues that the appraisal district guys cannot see when driving by. 

🧐So many companies nowadays are using self generated testimonials in an effort to boost  credibility. 

If that is the case, they would probably be operating a more consolidated team, but also, nowadays many companies start small despite their initial funding.  

Also, so much of it can be automated nowadays.
