Otherwise, for houses I would rather the tenant to not know where I live and not see me in a bathrobe out getting the newspaper or have the chance to bother me whenever I step outside.

I'm thinking website launch, newspaper classifieds, Craigslist, Google AdWords geo-targeted to the city, a large storefront signage and building personal relationships visiting realtors, local businesses that might need storage and banks.Beyond maintenance I could add features like security cameras, moving supplies retail, and graveling the area around the units - currently it's just grass.Here's the advice I would love: when you take over a facility, what are the first things you do to promote it?

Newspaper, county recorders office, the auctioneer posts notices on the courthouse (although sometimes people tear them down), directly from the trustee websites and 800 numbers, and there are online services (most common method) that compile all that information for you and more but it is subscription based.

Saying that old strategies have value is clearly understood by one who owns the rights to old books and who is still selling them, but they are "out of style" and much of them are out of compliance, like reading the comics in a ten year old newspaper, it might still be funny but it's certainly not new nor will you impress anyone at the water cooler.

Regarding their products or any one elses, you should never use a product under a 3mm if you are concerned about appearance because sub 3mm thickness will telegraph unevenness in the subfloor on glue down; under a 4 mm on floating floors of the actual material not including the pad.
