I reached out to several lenders about financing this project for the cost and renovation, I was either met with they only go up to 6 units, or the building has to be occupied, or that I was too in experience and I needed to put a license builder on the note with me.

Usually a couple of iron pipes driven into the ground....then you could sight down the line and get a decent idea.I think eventually you will need to get an official licensed survey to clear this up.

I would go on to facebook and find STR groups for your location(s) in question and see if there is a way to get a license already held by someone else, or if they are just completely off limits.
