A million dollar plus house may very well be within a couple hundred yards of a rotting trailer.Generally, the fundamentals (economy, taxes, population growth, job creation, education) are better in NH than in most of the northeast.

@Michael PlanteI was reading about opportunity zones the other day and it says that the government will sell you land at special price and give tax advantages to those investors who are willing to move capital and build properties such as commercial and residential to get these areas so that local economy gets stronger, job creation and all that.

In addition, there is the factor of completeing the necessary due diligence to locate and identify a future real estate trend that should happen due to other local factors such as a city or state or even federal revitalization program, uncovering evidence that a specific area will have a significant amount of growth due to population increases and job creations, and the list goes on.
