As I recall, the ABA was initially against the formation of LLCs until; They were seen as an easily formed entity that could be attacked with success and that there would be ongoing maintenance issues of the LLC, especially in divorce, bankruptcy and estate issues.

The creditor would likely attack the primary LLC or any and everything linked to it.If utilizing a Series LLC to execute a contract with a third party, you may have to include language in the contract that specifies the governing law as that of the state where the series was incorporated and raise the issue accordingly in court.

Besides mint going bankrupt and shutting it's doors (and my access to my data), an inopportune DNS attack on mint could be mighty inconvenient.I use Quicken and keep my data local (and backed up) and resist Quicken's pleas for me to move my data to the cloud.
