Wholesale is resale of a product without transformation.

Besides the excitement about affordable property values and some young people taking advantage of this affordability, what are the real driving factors that will carry these markets forward and ultimately transform them into healthy, sustainable areas?

And it's not just that some cities went from being lame to cool, that can be a legitimate transformation, it's that the cities that have ALWAYS been cool are insanely more expensive than they ever were.

If investments such as the river restoration project, 11th street bridge project, and the renovation of homes/building new homes/condos are still going as planned it will transform Historic Anacostia and propel future investments here.

I did a bit of research and came across Transforming Vacant and Blighted Properties from DCHD and the dashboard of properties that are available. 

I think I can add to this discussion in a way that is not inflammatory to either side of this "debate".1) There are many flippers out there that love the aspect of flipping where they are transforming a wreck of a house into a nice home for someone and they love getting paid to do so.

I really think Camp Creek Parkway will lead a lot of changes and transform this side of metro Atlanta. 

REI and business has interested me throughout the past few years but I am now taking the actual steps to transform my future to fit these desires.I am active duty Air Force and looking to transition into REI so that I can leave the service when my current enlistment is up.
