The house has a nest thermostat already installed, I plan to either use a Schlage Encode or Kwikest Halo lock (the existing locks are Kiwkset that appear to be pre-smart key, so depending on how easy it will be to rekey/recore and integrate with the smart lock will decide), and I plan to add cameras covering the front and rear of the house (unsure of type), and potentially a noise monitor like Minut.

On my VRBO I have Honeywell wifi thermostats, Digital Watchdog commercial grade camera system and just added a Rheem wifi water heater.I see no value in adding any of these to a rental as it doesn't increase the rent I get on the unit and I don't pay the utilities.

They also can use a infrared camera or a borescope to do an inspection at what may be a lower cost, but they usually only use these for newer stucco homes since that is where the problems normally area.
