@Mindy Jensen The easiest thing to do is to file for an eviction, then the Sheriff will supervise allowing you to move the contents of the property to the curb.

Any one with experience on how to best handle this; I think we have exposure by letting them in to remove it unsupervised, I do not feel it is in our best interest to be there supervising, we are looking into retaining an off duty law enforcement officer (pending clearing it with their department as extra duty due to insurance, etc.).

Some high end Thermador hoods have them & we had a similar unit in a lab I once worked in & it was very effective so I know it's a viable <$100 fix.But in retrospect they were great tenants (3years) & kept the place spotless in every other area.

@Brendan Moehn I actually house hack in Aurora through short-term rentals and I've had good luck, sure Aurora has a small college but that's not the only reason people visit from out of town, we have the paramount theatre, Fermi Lab in Batavia, concerts at River's Edge Park and   You don't have to worry about having to get a rental licensed by the city of Aurora because they're only there for a weekend or week.
