I knew someone not in RE investing but who hired a roofer for re-roofing a biz building who ended up causing MAJOR disaster!

Find a GC (and a plumber, electrician, HVAC guy, roofer, drywall guy, painter, floor guy, tree guy, grader, mason, finish carpenter, pressure wash guy, etc.)  

Looking for roofers, plumbers, electricians, windows/siding, exterior retaining walls, concrete patio/stairs, and handymen.

I have literally worked to exhaustion researching, offering, negotiaiting, arranging inspectors, roofers, foundation people etc.Oh, remember, you also need to find a lender for a 5-10 million dollar property and feel confident he will do the loan, all prior to your identification date...

Does anyone know any roofers in the Portland area that are familiar with this type of construction?

Hoping some contractors/home inspectors/roofers can give an opinion.

On the other hand, if they break something due to their negligence, that is on them to fix at their expense.So if they call me with a leaky roof, I'll send a roofer out and I'll pay for it. 

My roofer is concerned that the insurance claim can not be approved prior to the closing day.

I have already called my roofer and he should be able to tell me more and give me an estimate on the repair.
