Sounds like you've done the right thing setting the wheels in motion to evict.My advice:  (1.) stop communicating with the third party (spouse), (2.) consult/retain an attorney experienced in landlord-tenant matters, (3.) going forward, act sooner.

Also if you are using multiple gallons of the same color, you should mix them into a 5 gallon bucket to ensure uniformity, and also never stop or run out in the middle of a wall.

The hard part for me will be aligning top and bottom to ensure uniformity and ensuring filer boards (some at odd angles) are flush.

I don't anticipate needing a lot of electrical work done, but some examples would include installing a motion detecting light outside, or installing a GFCI outlet near the bathroom sink, or moving an electrical outlet down a few inches to accomodate the back of a new stove.
