Prior to 2022, it was difficult to find an operator who didn't make a lot of money on their real estate syndications. 

In my opinion it is the best way to learn the ropes of management and operations while de-risking things quite a bit (you're there every day). 

I don’t see any bad operators.

This could also mean making decisions that allow your business to operate independently from restrictive partnerships, heavy reliance on a single client, or dependence on specific market conditions.

We used to deliver our PPM, Operating Agreement and Subscription Agreement by US Postal Service; around 2005 we started using email, but still had to receive a hard copy with ink signature.

And generally, if you are a great operator and marketer, you can create a strong property just about anywhere with STRs.  

Those operate more like a hospitality business than a rental business.
