English is one of the only languages that has the subjunctive case. 

I messaged the Dad today (he doesn't speak much English, so communication is harder) and his message suggested that the daughter had told him, it was done and she didn't have to pay anymore.

We are going to stand up to corporate bullies and not allow every english phrase corporate ownership.

Thing is, it was long, looked to be cut and pasted for such emails as mine and not the best English - HUGE red flags...
