Most of my low income tenants are hard workers that don't want a handout -- many are proud of the fact that they can and are making it in market rate housing without government assistance! 

Its a life that's too easy, with a crappy education system, a huge sense of entitlement, government free handouts, and bad role models (Britney Spears and Kardashians).

Landlords are not generally going to hand out permanently long term modified leases for A locations.

Also, If Cradle to Grave Welfare Wanda has 10 kids who also go on Cradle to Grave Welfare, and the Federal government increases your taxes to give to them as Free Handouts, it's no different than the Begging Hobo Bob illustration. 

I understand his concern, tenants share the same, but he should be focusing on mitigating that fear instead of asking for a handout.

I'm totally against handouts but once the bill is passed, I think it's best o play the game.

Government handouts are actually increasing income for people at middle income and lower.
