First investment back against the wall. Need advice!

Hey mate,Sorry to hear this and I feel for you.Been there many times before.I would always cut my losses as quickly as possible and swallow the frog.Move on more experienced and smarter and don't repeat the same mistakes on the next one.The loser deals teach us more than the winners do.If you stay "in it" longer, you will get dragged down by the negativity of the situation along with the toxicity of the folks you are working with now.Your time and mind is better spent focused on finding another deal/opportunity and growing because this is all "positive momentum" thinking. Not trying to sound philosophical here but just something I've learned over the last 13 years of my investment career and flipping thousands of deals.Wishing you well and a quick recovery 🙏

Then they hit their desk, look at the pictures of their kids, remember how they have to come up with the two grand Junior's braces are costing them even with their piddling dental insurance, accept once more that it's going to have to go on the Visa, swallow down a wave of bitterness and anger at their own son for putting them deeper in the credit card debt hole, and lean forward to turn on their computer for another day at their utterly meaningless corporate job.If that's motivation by resentment, I guess that's me.

Roofstock for investing

They have certainly gotten better over time but I've never had an issue other my own lack of due diligence on a particular property so I can't blame Roofstock on that one.You can find great deals on Roofstock depending on what you are looking for and if you act quickly ( set up a filter that emails you immediately, I have been checking my email in work meetings and found fantasic deals that get swallowed up by other investors within minutes of hitting the market , so you have to act fast..Some of the properties have decent cash flow, others are appreciation plays.

(And by the way, if I was running a crowdfunding site that actually had superior due diligence, I would post my history online, update it every week, and use it to swallow up huge amounts of market share by pointing out that 99% of my competitors were not willing to do this.
