Lots of these owners have had these properties for a long time.

Also, many PadSplit properties have bedrooms that are created via flex walls that wouldn't meet the definition of a bedroom in an appraisal, so many PadSplit owners may think their property is worth a certain a mount based on a bed count that's not valid.

I would suggest calling RPM property management. 

BUT even then, the contract is valid, it just violated Portland regulations and the owner would owe the tenant the local Relocation Fee (penalty, which is steep).

@Gamal Harding you forgot that it's never fast enough for tenants or cheap enough for owners:(

So Keep your property but don't mid-term unless it is very small house and would appeal to traveling nurses on 3 month gigs.
