I would like to connect with investors in the same asset class to validate some of my underwriting assumptions. 

I want to start investing in assets early in life, and possibly become a landlord in the future. 

It is all intentionally designed and the farm is looked at as an asset by the neighborhood.

The IRS treats SDIRA-owned properties as tax-advantaged assets, meaning gains from their sale are already tax-deferred within the IRA.

Since I’m holding these properties for the long term (30-year loans), I’ll have fully paid-off assets around the same time I’d traditionally start withdrawing from my 401(k).

I have decent liquid assets but they would take a huge hit dropping 10-20 percent on a 2 million + loan.  

I don't disagree with a lot of your sentiments but the numbers don't work on duplexes in our market anymore like a traditional duplex where people want to house hack so in my opinion a triplex is the best. it also allows you to have highest asset value possible. in terms of our single family spec homes compared to our spec triplexes the triplex build to rent have the most interest.  

Josh, we are entering a period where the FED has came out and said rates are coming down.Based on decades of data, during market cycles when interest rates are decreasing, asset prices rise.

I think most BP folks would agree that you have the right idea, diversifying your assets with stocks, bonds, and real estate.
