If no issues arise, it's likely the subto has all those underlying positive characteristics you mentioned. 

Will the lender require 25% down, or will they allow cross collateralization with your existing equity positions?

What other options would be good?  

Is there some reason that you or the company simply don't discuss what happened and use this as an opportunity to turn a negative post into a positive one for the company?
