Not sure why that happen, however the best way to screen a potential tenant is to see how they have performed in the past. 

I wanted to be absolutely sure I had complete agency and that I knew how to perform my own analysis over various situations.

We invest in non performing loans and do some private lending as well.

We have had voucher tenants in two separate markets and have found them to be our top performers overall.

How is my property performing compared to the local market? 

Once completed, the goal is to get them rented and then pull money out of each house to build a high performance spec.

But always remember that RE is a risky venture, and you could go through years of less than stellar performance.
