There was no insulation in the walls & a NG heating bill we found (October 1955) was for $3.42.

Contact a contractor and see what they will charge per unit to install Natural Gas (hot water or hot air) and then maybe just do the 1st and possibly the 2nd floor with NG.

@Christpher Schuebel love it BUT venting, 240v line or NG lines could be a big issue.
