With all that said will the DTI still be a large issue if I have almost a $500k in equity in the current home , a couple hundred thlusand in ira/401k , and around $300k crypto that could become liquid?

Even if the bk is successful in stopping the sale, the Trustee is going to have to hire an attorney to appear in the bk and then you get into the problem with the reduction in equity described above.I stand by my belief that neither tactic is a useful tool in this situation.

We have had the same tenants since we leased it in 2022 and fortunately they have been great- minimal maintenance requests, very easy to communicate with, and pay on time.We have a 30 year fixed mortgage on the property at 2.875%, the property cash flows about $1,200/month, and there is roughly $200,000 in equity in the property.
