@Jesse Rivera I love the idea of it the only issue I'm currently facing is I would get negative cash flow renting out my current home  based on my current mortgage so it definitely isn't ideal 

It will take 19 months of cash flow to break even.This doesn't account for any maintenance issues or a really bad renter.

Fortegra is non-admitted in California and that's likely causing the issue.

Usually b/c if the deal is so amazing, the money is rarely the issue, and b/c those people that do have the money thus get to cherry pick for the 1 in 10 or 1 in 15 that is the MOST amazing of "amazing deals."

Make sure you are going to get your money's worth.One more thing: Matt claims they have now fixed their staffing issue and fine tuned the business.

of course the sale of hurricane damaged houses also confuses the issue (my house had no such damage but is only about 4 blocks from houses that did).

I read this as someone using a short-term lens to focus on a long-term issue. 

The PM is slacking and poorly addressing tenant issues. 

Find a lawyer and issue a lease violation for other issues such as excessive noise and furniture removal.
