Research the area (is it A, B, C, D, or F).

@James Galla  yeah, I don't buy in east or south akron and whether or not it's a D- or a flat out war zone is probably a judgement call.

As long as they are not creating a living hazard (the slopy house is not a hazard) such as breaking plumbing, dor causing structural damage, I would let it go until they were ready to move out.If you rent to families with young children, this is to be expected, it comes with the territory.

What some of you posters do r understand is San Francisco is perhaps the most tenant friendly city in the United States.
