Hi all, I have a SFH with a backyard that is extremely shaded after years of tree growth behind the property. 

Your photos are average--  re-take them with an iphone, make sure all lights are on, shades are open, and then  brighten it up.   

My suggestion is to put in a darker color.

There is lots of shades in-between them.  

I was thinking of adding a awning for shade and pavers on ground . since the units are so small  this extra space could also fit a table for dining besides making the laundry area shaded .will it help to increase rent ?

Not to throw shade at any realtors on here (they all might be amazing for all I know), but I do recommend that you find somebody who is a realtor and also an investor.
