Look at your local granite cutters/finishers and you could easily get some Uba Tuba remnants for cheap (probably under a grand if you happen to find an installer on site if your lucky)Now take those costs and consider the potential to have to repair those appliances and if the numbers work , go for it.

I was getting tired of my even 1.5% interest at the credit unionso I think this is a better option, to buy cheaper places and rentthem, it will give me a lot more than leaving it in the credit unionand is a whole lot less stressful than dealing with the stock marketwhich I was looking into for a long time but think it is too rigged for now.

I am investing in rural areas of western NC and there are not many cookie cutter homes/developments so the 200K selling prices is based on a larger search area.
