I think the worst part of oil and gas slump is behind us, with the number of rigs starting to come online is back up.

Look at your local granite cutters/finishers and you could easily get some Uba Tuba remnants for cheap (probably under a grand if you happen to find an installer on site if your lucky)Now take those costs and consider the potential to have to repair those appliances and if the numbers work , go for it.

When two or more people agree not to bid against each other in an attempt to lower the bidding price it's known as collusion or bid rigging.

I then bought a commercial vacant lot I paid 17 k for and held it a few years then sold it for 55k owner financed...Not every one wants to live in a cookie cutter subdivision with rules.

I was getting tired of my even 1.5% interest at the credit unionso I think this is a better option, to buy cheaper places and rentthem, it will give me a lot more than leaving it in the credit unionand is a whole lot less stressful than dealing with the stock marketwhich I was looking into for a long time but think it is too rigged for now.

I am investing in rural areas of western NC and there are not many cookie cutter homes/developments so the 200K selling prices is based on a larger search area.

Once you get 3 or 4 deals under your belt, you'll start taking the mystery out of it and see just how cookie cutter investing can be.Enjoy the ride.

This is not a cookie-cutter system like some of the national programs. 

Another issue is that those cookie cutter documents you can get from filing yourself online don't always work if you actually find yourself in trouble.
