How did it behave during the last crash?

My latest misadventure in property management, a police car crashed into one of my buildings.

Even though I had been lending already when we started this company during the last crash, I still partnered with someone more experienced than I and I learned.

If you recall prior to the last crash, people used the same question you just did..."

@Sean Gammons rising property values & mortgage rates have ended the "easy days" where you could buy anything and rent for cashflow.You're going to have to look harder or go into riskier investments.Prior to the crash of 2008, seasoned investors would look at 100 properties, bid on 10, to hopefully get one deal accepted that met their ROI and CoC requirements.

If they think property values will be crashing soon and we will be in a recession, they will come in lower.  

And remember, you can average down during a 50% crash.

Stay consistent.Sorry but they deserve to crash and burn.

Prices crashed and I bought  5 condos in 6 years.

I used to flip houses (wholesale, retail, subto, etc. using Ron Legrand methods) so one day, after doing about 50 such flips it all came crashing down.
