I think you should have some compassion for their situation, and not make it all about you. 

It seems like such a simple philosophy, but very few are able to implement it in practice (me thinks that the dollar signs have a tendency to skew one's moral compass).Definitely interested in connecting.

i made my living as an assistant professor in formal logic for seven years - just FYI :)then you should be well aware that compassion is just as important as logic when you are trying to persuade someone.
