I don't disagree that more stuff doesn't necessarily equate to happiness, but in a capitalist society the people have spoken.

That is really a red herring any any scoring mechanism that gives people points for talking seed investors or venture capitalists into investing in them is flawed IMO.  

Sub-Saharan Africa has the best demographic trends however due to widespread corruption and not joining the capitalist movement the opportunities for its people and growth are extremely limited.

If venture capitalist or angel investors aren't available as options to finance the company, it's unclear as to how the company will be able to finance itself through other means.
