Are you not necessarily denying him based on screening criteria - Some landlords make it a requirement to view the property prior to letting the applicant apply.

First house in 2021 - no internet to search at that time, remember going to realtor offices and seeing magazines and talking on phone with them about properties available and driving by them as there was no google street view.

Hi @Tyler Bolton I hope I can help clarify given I see a lot of muddled points of view on these matters online.  

I always recommend starting with a prequalification letter to get a solid view of your purchasing power before heading out into the real estate market.

So in my view, the value of the land is what comparable raw land is going for, less the costs that will be incurred to get to the raw land. 

I imagine some may have a better view, more bedrooms, or more amenities. 

Cashflow, ability to build a team, landlord tenant laws, price to rent ratio etc.......were all factors in the decision making process almost a decade ago.Now,  I wonder why your approach is an either or view? 

Mentioning unique perks like 'Game Room,' 'Lake View,' or 'Pet-Friendly' can really draw people in.

North Park buyers might love a historic Craftsman with modern touches, while La Jolla buyers want high-end finishes and panoramic views.
