For someone staying out, what are your thoughts on paid coaching?

And this is in Vegas.

I’m Jorge Vazquez, a licensed broker, investor, property manager, and coach of the Property Profit Academy.

I may consider selling off my Indianapolis area SFHs to 1031 exchange to Nevada (Reno or Vegas, looking at those 2 markets) - I think my kids would rather have another home in Nevada (future primary, vacation home or rental) vs dealing with rentals 2000 miles away.

Also, depending upon how aggressive you want to grow hiring a mentor/coach would also be beneficial.

@Christine Aledam if you are planning to invest in Vegas or even otherwise in a different state with the mindset of growing the portfolio, might be best to do it under LLC.

Also the Adelson family of Las Vegas Sands fame have purchased a couple of big parcels with hopes to build a giant casino/convention resort perhaps anchored by the arena for the Mavericks for which they also just purchased majority ownership from Mark Cuban. 

Many stockbrokers became “financial advisers,” and say what one might about them, the best ones are both personal financial coaches and multi-product experts (securities, annuities, insurance, etc.).
