Finally, is it customary to conduct all of these steps in person, or is it acceptable to transmit the documentation by mail and request a timely return?

I am looking for a camera that can be accessed remotely but uses cell phone technology to transmit.

For all I know, appraisals might be done with small drones with equipment to transmit video that can't be seen by the human eye.
