I'm located in LA, have about 80k for a down payment, and will be looking to buy a property in LA in 4-6 months.I'm leaning towards house hacking a duplex.

I'm hoping to relocate to either OC or LA in the next few months and trying to wrap my head around the respective investment markets.

New member in Richmond, VA, who just moved here last year from Northern Virginia where I spent the last 12 years, but am enjoying the Central Virginia area much more.Currently own 11 residential rental properties; 2 TH's in NoVA, and a slumlord of 9 properties outside of Atlanta, GA.Also have the potential to developer/build up to 4 homes on a 20ac plot in So Cal, 2hrs north of LA in the town of Tehachapi, CA.Looking forward to hopefully discovering financing options for future purchasing, transitioning to multi-unit properties, commercial real estate, and potentially becoming a builder/developer.

I would love to hear more from people who have been buying and holding/renting properties in LA in recent years. 

We plan to move out of LA in the next 5 years, but with everyone being priced out of the Westside with Baldwin Hills Mall, Crenshaw line, Rams Stadium, parks and lakes they are putting in...etc... we hope it appreciates nicely in the next 3 - 5 years. 

I'm 25-years old and live in Downey, CA while working in Downtown LA in the financial district.

Their mastery class is fro 20K to $34,000 a year for coaching. we will not invest that money right now into that program.I would rather put that money down on my second home and rehab another home.I restored a craftsman house in LA in 2002 with a renovation loan with a bank.

Will be traveling to Slidell,LA in January to purchase homes.
