You're trying to say a low volume weed smoker doesn't stink up the house because they don't make enough smoke - I can truly say I have made more than enough smoke to make my house stink...and it doesn't.It's also not even remotely comparable to a BBQ grille, that is yet again an entirely different sort of smoke with an entirely different makeup.

Once you get gas to the house then you have options for gas stove, water heater, dryer, fireplace and outdoor grill if you want. 

I know TurboTax online grilled me like a nice steak trying to find all the deductions for my rental property.

I repaired a deck one time that some renter had put the charcoal grill on the composite porch.

I'm sorry to go off topic but this is an outlandish statement, by that logic if your neighbor burned down their house and yours because the grill or fire pit was too close are you going to sue the fire department?

Still, some of the units I'm seeing don't even have a balcony or a fenced in area for a grill.  

I give them a bit of a grilling, but not too bad.

I don't think you'll get a lot of offers by tossing a Foreman grill on the counter.I imagine this house had a stove at some point.
