You will want to check with your insurance carrier and I would make sure they are properly licensed, insured and or bonded. 

I believe with most carrier sin OK you're looking at minimal 1% deductible for wind/hail with some going up to 5% of the dwelling amount.I have people ask me all the time if they can just remove the wind/hail coverage and I have to remind them that covers more than just their roof. 

Customarily an insurance carrier will provide legal representation for negligence but depending on the fact pattern may not even pay for damages.

I attribute this to a lack of understanding of litigation, the claim participants and objectives of the parties (particularly the plaintiff's attorney and insurance carriers).

Make a relationship with a broker/agent/agency (specifically independent) rather than a carrier.

So, yeah, government bureaucracy at its finest.If you add another box and keep sending mail to the that box you will be surprised to see that mail is delivered by your carrier.
