The term "Realtor" is a registered trademark of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

Keeping.....Richard Davis, owner of Trademark Properites, star of Flip that House and easily the most famous flipper in the country had this to say at the end of one of his shows where he rehabbed a multi-unit property (the big gray one) he owns.

"Realtor" is a trademark, and should not be used to identify those that are NOT members.There are MANY, licensed Real Estate Agents and Brokers that are NOT Realtors.As with many Professions, there are different areas of expertise that still fall generically into the Real Estate Profession.

On the flip side, I have talked with a contractor that does work for Richard Davis' Trademark Properties (formerly of Flip this House and currently doing Real Estate Pros on TLC), and he basically said that that guy is the real deal.

There's no such thing as a "Realtors" License (in US).You may be a licensed real estate agent.Realtor is a trademark of the NAR, and you must be a paid current member to use the term.
