if i try to flip it, i would barely make my money back if you consider the closing costs that were involved. don't even get me started on the fines i've already incurred and the lifestyle i've had to endure while basically living out of a suitcase, trying to get these rehabs done.

However, I'm out a chunk of money and a lot of time cleaning and inconvenience living out of  a suitcase waiting for the apt to be ready. 

Lodger has verbally agreed to surrender premises (mailed back keys from jail) and but stated since has no living family members available, requested his security deposit back and month to month storage of personal property (passport, social security card, US Army Veteran Honorable Discharge paper, about 5 suitcases of clothing and a couple milkcrate size boxes of misc personal belongings, that's it).

However, I'm starting to find that I travel to one particular client quite often, in a city on the opposite coast from which I live, and I'm super tired of the whole hotel scene and bringing suitcases with me all of the time.I'm considering buying a property in that work city.  

We call that area "Suitcase City," because of all the fly by night people who move in and move out.

Many people purchase the wrong properties and then can't afford repairs, vacancies and they don't have a clue regarding how to manage properties and don't have a clue regarding what to do when the tenant from hell destroys the property and does not pay rent for 6 to 9 months while you are paying the mortgage and an attorney.If you a gambling woman with huge suitcases full of money then jump right in and take your chances not with real estate, but take your chances trying to find an honest and competent person who will guide you in the right direction like you are their mother.

Ramsey disciples tend to be people who were broke as a joke and in a ridiculous amount of debt, got/are getting out of it, and now attempt to carry suitcases of dollars around with them when they need to buy things.
