I think the reason most people "fail" or never start boils down to lacking one of these three things or a combination of them:A strong "why".

Do you have an idea of the long-term rental amount, and would that be sufficient to meet the DSCR ratio needed to qualify for the loan?

Example: You have a 3-Family Building that has 3bedrooms 1bathroom on each of the three floors - 9Bedrooms 3Bathrooms Three Living Rooms Three Kitchens.

How long did it take to complete those first three builds?

Since 2020 we've seen large asset value increases and large tax increases, and more modest insurance increases but we've been able to improve our profit margins sufficiently to keep up with inflation and even do a little better in many cases.

Whether you need a CPA with just three rentals depends on the complexity of your situation and your comfort level with DIY tax prep.If things are pretty straightforward, you might be fine with tax software for now.
