@Michael Klinger  As others posted, SoFi and Discover personal loans are good options and I've used them in the past.  2-3 business days from application to funds in my checking account. 

By doing research we discovered that 1.0 acres was sold off in the 1960s and never caught by the assesment office, so the tax bills were too high for 40 years. 

Spending the owner's money, not saying anything, and letting them discover it while reviewing the monthly statement is unprofessional.

Shortly after closing, I discovered that the roof above my unit (a common area under the HOA's responsibility) was severely damaged from a past storm.
