We want to buy a beach casita/condo up in the Natal or Sao Miguel do Gostoso area.

I have not been to Uruguay yet but have you ever seen the prices in places like Sao Paulo?

Im very familiar with the capital island São Miguel.

My wife is from Sao Pualo Brazil and we are currently looking at buying some land in that area.

I am in Sao Paulo (one of the biggest cities in the world) and see an amazing amount of vacant commercial bulidings yet there is still 18 floor high-end apartment buildings being built all over.

Being Grateful due to ScarcityI lived in dense cities all my life where competition for living spaces are high (Sao Paulo, San Francisco, LA, Seoul etc):  To be able to land a place for rent itself is a feat and if we do, WE ARE GRATEFUL. 

I would like to look into buying a one room apartment in the center of Sao Paulo.I like the big building Edificio Copan, as I know the area and the buiding well and have friends living there.
