I would like to retract the reply I made a couple of weeks ago, inasmuch as I evidently didn't have all the facts.  

The Big 3 and others hit financial crisis and were retracting there footprint in the city.

He should retract it and go back to the $150 to send a strong message that trying to take advantage of his generosity will not be rewarded.He obviously has handled the situation very poorly by making a offer in the first place but now he must take back control of the situation and make it very clear that it is $150 or nothing and they can pack their bags.

You can "edit" your post for the first 15 minutes and then the "edit" button (top right of your message) turns into an "update" button where you can add additional info, corrections, retractions, whatever to the post.

Is it at all possible for me to "retract" the listing and inform the guest that the space will not be available during the summer as expected?

I do not allow tenants to retract notice without my approval.
