IF you made payment to old servicer new one cannot show you late they have to transfer the funds along- there is a 60 day grace period.

If that happens then the tax record is updated by the effect of transferring the property.

I am curious though, in hindsight, how does an investment in STR in Hawaii in 2012 would compare with other markets over this period of time despite all the regulation headwinds?

New occupants will be coming soon, but in a 3 family, i have set of excellent student tenants that renewed.That said, many landlord insurance policies have exclusions for students, so I am trying to gather info on updating a policy to consider the fact that the building is only going to be 33% student occupied.  

I would assume they are providing frequent updates to investors on a monthly basis, including status updates, property updates, and fund updates to maintain communication.

They accepted rent for a time period they knew would not entitle them to the funds.
