We as tenants had to acquire a shop vac and clean it ourselves, including dragging rugs full of filth and animal hair to the dumpsters.

Burlap on the wall, postage stamp rug for a large living room, hodgepodge of items around the house with no real theme.

Because the laws are so tenant protection oriented I would rather have an empty unit than take a risk on an uncertain situation.
