It took new construction costs from $800-2500 down to $325 / SF and instead of 2 years it can be done in 8-12 months (design, permits, fabrication, shipping, and erection) depending on how much homeowners customized the standard plans.

Not sure if it is a crime but something needs to be done. puffing is so common just shop for a MF with commercial brokers their flyers and attached proformas are all blue sky.. the best scenarios possible. the issue with Morris was gross misrepresentations of the risk of the asset class they touted.. like I have said it was a complete fabrication or he was more clueless than we thought .. then it was the fake renters  the rehab monies stolen etc etc. 

I will say that they aren't really yurts, which are a light wooden frame with canvas or the like fabric.

We painted the inside, opened the kitchen/dining room, replaced windows, removed a nasty fabric lined black tub from the basement, replaced the siding and redid the bathroom.

You're looking for finishes that hold up to wet glasses and don't chip, upholstery fabrics that don't stain, and furniture that doesn't sag or break.
