However if you aren't doing mass scale, we definitely suggest letting the contractor handle material purchasing.As long as the client has all of the materials at the jobsite, place them where they go, they are all the correct type/fit and there are all of the misc parts (adapters/special hardware/etc) needed to do the install.

Those that preach no/low down payments are mostly just trying to appeal to the masses who want everything for nothing that will buy their courses.

A nice thing about renewables is that the price to develop these projects is dropping rapidly due to mass production of equipment, and they are unique in that they require less tax dollars over time.
