I’ll check my toxic masculinity on the person who called me woman....yeah that’s a thing now... and the guy who said to shut the utilities - man this crazy person knows the system and called the health department on me because the tenant who is responsible for the utilities didn’t pay the bill.

I would highly recommend to have female input in interior designs; wife's often make the final call about making an offer and I have seen guys build houses that are way to masculine in design - dark tile bathroom or kitchn etc..

., I would feel comfortable going to meetups, and I feel that in some ways, being a woman is an asset because *some* men find it intriguing/refreshing to see women appear in a heavily male-dominated industry, so are more inclined to chat and help - with or without ulterior motives is another story.But what I do find concerning is the stigma that sometimes comes with a female investor... because real estate investment is looked at as a "masculine" activity which is perceived as unconventional for women to dabble.
