I think you misunderstood the technology, just like the boomers who misunderstood "internet".Cryptocurrencies, be it Cardano, Rippple, Litecoin, whatever... are all just "startups" leveraging blockchain technology.

I believe the same will be said for crypto.It is infancy stages still in the space, eventually their will be cryptos that are much less volatie (Litecoin is already an example and has nearly instant transaction processing) and be used to buy your everyday coffee, maybe not real estate, but many many other things.There will be booms and bust, coins will come and go, but crypto currency is not likely going away. 

We currently accept Bitcoin and Litecoin with no worry at all but we're curious what others think about this?

@Jeff Johnson , I also have a small, speculative portion of my investment portfolio - right now, it is all tied up in bitcoins, litecoins, peercoins, terracoins, and feathercoins (cryptocurrencies).

For a short period of time his dad invested in some bitcoin/litecoin mining hardware and he's been managing those machines.

Engelo,You can buy litecoin on BTC-e for USD I believe, or deposit bitcoin there from coinbase, bitstamp, or any other site.

I've got some Bitcoin, some Ether and some Litecoin.  

New kind of crypto currency keep coming (Bitcoin, Etherium, lite coin…) in market every month… this is completely baseless.
