Looking to obtain a real estate salesperson license in CT.

Like wouldn’t it be better to get a license and throw your own offers?

I just completed my 20 hour course for my Illinois Mortgage Lending License and the final step is taking the state exam.

To write off travel expenses incurred while looking for a property to invest in:Business License: Not needed.Deductible Expenses:Travel Costs: Yes, such as gas or airfare.Lodging: Yes.Meals: 50% deductible.Education Travel for Real Estate: Yes, 100% deductible.Important: All these expenses are deductible if you report rental income. 

I had already been in real estate for 5 years and thought I had seen it all.  

And you definitely do not need a license to be an investor.

I've read many of the BiggerPockets books like - House Hacking- Flipping- Estimating Rehabs- Multifamily Millionaire Book I and II- How to Invest in Real Estate with Low or No Money Down- Investing from a Distanceand even some outside of themand have been wanting to do something in Real Estate for awhile.
