we did the first 3 in a 18 month period we used internal funds so no debt.. these were 350k to 400k all in projects.. so U need cash to be a spec builder or you need investors if you dont have cash..

@Jim G.Per the International Residential Code if the glazing is less then 60 inches vertically from a standing or walking surface then yes it’s required to be safety glass as it’s considered a hazardous area.

Does it look like a modern-ish apartment with breezeways and internal stairs, or is it built like a roadside motel with long walk ways along the front.  

Yes it is new legislation that passed.  

There is legislation pending that would allow it to be done without a City Council Ordinance, but it's unclear if this legislation will pass. 

It's a good time to review markets, but living in China there are a lot of other closer, international markets that could be options as well.
